Our Team

Dora Purvis

Being a Christian teacher for over 40 years in multiple different states as well as many different venues, Dora has seen a drastic shift in our youth. The indoctrination that has deceived our children has created a hopelessness that has destroyed many lives and even turned children from strong Christian families away from Christ. As a result, God led her to leave teaching and start Hope 4 the Future. Her calling is to bring the hope of Christ to a lost and broken generation for the purpose of life transformation. Her desire is to introduce these young people to Christ so that they can discover that they are not alone, but were created for a purpose by a loving God who knows their struggles and desires a relationship with them.

Veronica Bratton

Veronica is excited to see what the Lord has in store for Lynchburg  through Hope 4 the Future.  After spending twenty years working in a Residential Treatment Facility for At Risk Youth in the Richmond area, the Lord has opened her eyes to the unimaginable circumstances many youth go through.  Veronica, herself, grew up in a "project area" of Henrico County, a suburb of Richmond.  Her first hand experiences combined with her experiences with the Residential Treatment Facility has equipped her to identify with the youth of our area.  Veronica has a heart for all, especially, young people to know the only hope is in Jesus.  While we can't control the family or circumstances we are born into, we have a heavenly father who loves us and never leaves. That is a message they need to hear and she is looking forward to sharing the love of Christ with them through innovative concerts to reach them where they are at.
